Similar Products - rise of the foot soldier

This location used in the torture scene in rise of the foot soldier is the same kind of indoor location I would like to use in the first scene to our film opening. I think its a good location because its a very bleak, empty warehouse which sets the scene well for a crime about to be comitted. It also suggests to the viewer that the film is taking place in an urban area which is where the film will be set and gangs typically operate in towns and cities. The torture scene in 'Rise of the foot soldier' is filmed in dark, cold colours, and although our opening scene will not be a torture, I think its a very good idea as it creates a more chilling atmosphere and this technique would darken the mood of the film.

The research you have done is good on the timings of the Juno opening and the music for 28 weeks later but i think you could do a bitmore research onto the actual film itself and genres of film. You could do with a few more posts on storyboarding and actors etc but what you have is good.. "safeee"

Synopsis Discussion

We have decided that our film will be produced in the genre of action/crime. The film will start with an excecution in a deserted warehouse committed by members of a gang, followed by flashbacks explaining the reason for the excecution.
